Wendy Alec is definitely my favorite author; so clear, clever and very visual -- it's like watching a movie rather than reading.

In this book from the series (of 7), Christos has found the woman chosen to give birth to the Messiah. Lucifer tries with all his might to stop God's plan, but fails miserably. As the Christ grows older, Lucifer plots another way to destroy Him through one of His followers, Judas. The plan seems to work, as Christ is put to death by crucifixion. Yet a surprise awaits Lucifer and the hoards of hell when Death brings the Nazarene's soul...

These books have been called "faction." Though they be novels, there is more truth than anything else.

I would recommend the others books in the series: Book 1, "The Fall of Lucifer" & Book 3, "Son of Perdition") I'm eagerly awaiting the 4th book, "A Pale Horse."
